Vince McMahon's backstage involvement, former TNA star to WWE?

Vince McMahon makes a rare appearance

– The WWE ratings in the recent months have been dwindling down to new lows. Although Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker might be a temporary fix, WWE needs to find a quick solution for this problem. It was found out that Mr. McMahon was heavily involved in the creative part for Saturday's Live Event at Madison Square Garden. With Triple H running NXT efficiently and smoothly, it has been the talk of the town that Triple H, his son in law might take over the creative.

But this is not the case. Vince is very much the apex guy at WWE and all the decisions go through after his consideration. PWI insider stated about this saying that whatever decisions are taken are by Vince and that every detail of it has to be approved by him. It is seen that due to low ratings Vince is micro-managing every smallest part of the creative and still has a firm hold on the WWE.

– These days, TNA has been under a lot of pressure. There is so much going with the company with respect to ratings, thinning of the roster and television deals. Former wrestlers such as Sting, Bubba Ray Dudley, Samoa Joe have returned to the WWE. There has been a talk that another big star Gunner is looking forward to ally with the WWE after leaving TNA. Gunner who has won a few championships during his time in TNA, would want to be a part of WWE. He recently spoke with Scott Fishman of Channel Guide Magazine while promoting his new movie and revealed that he was in talks with WWE.

In the interview he spoke about how wrestling was his first love and that no matter what he would continue to wrestle. He also talks about working in the independent circuit and his dream of being at Wrestlemania. Here is what he said.

Wrestling is my number one love since I was a kid,” he said. “It’s what I always wanted to do. Ever since I was five I dreamed for that WrestleMania moment or wrestling some of the top guys on Monday nights. I definitely want to pursue WWE. There are some talks going on. I hope it comes to pass, so we’ll see. When it comes to the independent scene, it’s been awesome. That is where I came from.”
