WWE superstar John Cena made an appearance at the Phoenix Comic Con event this weekend along with SmackDown general manager Daniel Bryan and the Bella twins. The four of them had a Q&A session with fans in a bid to promote their E! reality show, Total Bellas.
One of the young fans threw up a question at Cena asking him what his favourite food was. What the 15-time WWE world champion said in response came as a shock to everyone present but also sent them into splits at the same time.

He said, “Um, well, if I were to have Nicole stand up this time, I couldn’t show you,” suggesting that it was his girlfriend Nikki Bella. “Don’t worry, you’re gonna get that in a few years,” added the 39-year old, before retracting his statement and telling the youngster that he was only kidding.
Although Nikki, Bryan and Brie sported a smile on their faces, they were visibly taken aback by John Cena’s reply. In an attempt to cover up for what had happened, Brie Bella suggested that her husband Daniel Bryan would have also said the same thing, to which the latter agreed.
Meanwhile, Nikki Bella took control of the situation by stating that Cena loves steak and vegetables. Even as the giggles continued among those in attendance, a tense-yet-smiling John Cena thanked everyone for dealing with him.
Cena has always been highly popular among kids and the superstar uses every opportunity possible to connect with his young fans. Considering this, his not-very-PG comments at the Phoenix Comic Con have certainly come as a surprise to everyone. Here is Cena’s response:
