Word on the return of Jeff Hardy

If the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is to be believed, WWE has been in discussion about bringing Jeff Hardy back into the fold. ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ is currently on the TNA roster, one of the biggest names in there along with WWE alumni Kurt Angle.

As was recently seen, WWE website recently polled its fans on who to bring back among former WWE names and it was Hardy who came out on top, closely followed by Angle. With the recent return of the Dudleys making ripples in the WWE universe, WWE seems to have opened up to the idea of bringing back the Hardys too. For a while, it was quite the no-no in the WWE to be mentioning Hardy’s name, but just last week on RAW, Dudleys brought their name up when in a segment with Edge & Christian. While the history between the 3 teams is inseparable, the WWE has had a notorious history of overlooking such things in the past.

The return also seems more likely considering the financial troubles TNA is undergoing at present, and the two highest paid performers on their roster are said to be Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy. Angle, on his part, recently announced that he would be taking an year off to assess his future following his current contract with TNA coming to an end.
