WWE accused of racism again by former star

Former WWE star Sin Cara

Former WWE star Myzteziz, who portrayed the original Sin Cara character, has revealed that he was exposed to a lot of racism backstage in an interview with MedioTiempo.com which was published on Tuesday.

According to the AAA wrestler, the ‘gringos’ in the WWE can be ‘very racist’ and even the higher officials were into making racial remarks. However, there wasn’t any clear indication from Cara about the wrestlers and if they too were involved in racism in the locker room.

This issue was highlighted only a week ago by former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio, who claimed in an interview with Fighting Spirit Magazine, that it was not uncommon for people in positions of power in WWE to openly say racial remarks around employees under the guise of jokes.

Myzteziz, however did not blame racism behind his mediocre time in the company but he believes that it creates an unhealthy atmosphere for the minorities.

Despite the racism he experienced in WWE, he does not rule out a return to the company. He considers wrestling in the United States an honor, and after having gone through the experience, knows what to expect.
