Chris Benoit movie?, update on Brock Lesnar, botched RAW segment and more

Finally, a biopic on Chris Benoit

- Chris Benoit was a very talented wrestler and his demise was heartbreaking and shocking at the same time. It was reported earlier that a movie on Chris was on the cards.

There were rumours flying around since 2013, that actor Liev Schreiber was going to play Chris Benoit’s character in a movie called ‘Crossface’. In latest updates coming in, Schreiber has been announced for the movie but we haven’t seen any confirmation. The movie is an adaptation of Matt Randazzo’s “Ring of Hell” book and is allegedly being produced by SRG Films.

- The Monday’s RAW segment involving Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Paige during The Miz TV segment was reportedly botched. What was actually supposed to happen was that the three Divas were going to show a tension brewing up between them and a potential break-up was to be teased.

It was to be on the lines of all of them wanting a shot at Nikki Bella’s Divas title, but that aspect of the promo never took place.

- The reports about Brock Lesnar facing Bo-Dallas at the WWE Madison Square Garden live special event, have turned out to be false. The reports are said to be thoroughly incorrect and Brock’s opponent has not been decided upon as of yet. The event will air live on the WWE Network.

- ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair in a recent interview, said that Randy Orton is on the look out for a lighter work schedule in the WWE going forward. He is gunning for a schedule like that of Shawn Micheals worked at a time, where he worked for some time and took a significant amount of time off.
