WWE discussing The Rock vs Triple H for Wrestlemania 32? Rock comments

The Rock confronting Triple H at WM 31

It’s only been over a couple of months since Wrestlemania 31 got over at the Levi Stadium this year and the WWE Universe has already been anticipating some high-profile encounters that could potentially occur at next year’s grand event.

And one of the promising angles to come out from WM 31 was the angle between The Authority and The Rock where the Great One with the aid of UFC star Ronda Rousey took out Triple H and Stephanie from the ring.

Lot of possible matches being discussed for Rock vs Triple H

Since then, there have been a lot of speculations about the potential matches that could happen at the AT&T Stadium in Texas where some reports have hinted towards a mixed tag team match while many have suggested that it could be a singles match between Rock and The Game with Ronda and Stephanie at their corners respectively.

The Rock has been consistent with his WM appearances in recent times and with WWE going all out with an aim to set a record breaking attendance in Texas next year, the WWE universe can certainly bank on something big from the man who “Brings It.”

Judging on his interview with SI.com, where he promoted his upcoming movie San Andreas, Rock made it clear that a return to the ring is a realistic option and not a fan-fueled pipe dream. Here’s what he said on a possible Wrestlemania 32 match:

Rock confirms he, Vince and Triple H are planning to create something that will be amazing

"Myself, [WWE chairman Vince McMahon], Triple H have talked about creating something that is amazing. Any time for me, going back into the WWE, especially if it's a match -- and these guys know this because of the open dialogue between me and Triple H -- the question is, can we create, in terms of a promotional scale for the fans, something better than what we did in Miami and back-to-back in New York with John Cena?

“Can we put together something that's different but equally, if not more, exciting? So there's a lot of elements involved that we continue to talk about and chop up. That's the coolest part about the relationship I have with the McMahons, including Triple H. ...

"Look, the platform is there. You have Dallas and could set an attendance record, so that's the first goal. And then what is the match that allows us to do that? I've had incredible matches with Triple H, so I'm not ruling it out, but I'm not saying it is going to happen. We continue to talk about it, and we're still shooting each other text messages. He sent me a message from Dallas that said, 'This could be us. The record is ours.' So we'll see."
