John Cena and Seth Rollins are recovering faster than expected

Not a long wait

This would come as a breath of fresh air for not just the WWE Universe, but the brass and the roster too. Injured main-eventers John Cena and Seth Rollins are reportedly healing well and are on the fast track in their convalescence. According to dailywrestlingnews.com, both are undergoing rehabilitation and are working overtime to recover.

The face of the WWE, John Cena, has been undergoing therapy for 8-odd hours a day in a bid to pull off one of his Wolverine-like comebacks. Cena injured his rotator cuff in January and was declared out of action for six to seven months.

The 38-year-old’s injury hasn’t restricted his proclivity for posting cryptic teasers on social media, with a number of them alluding to a WrestleMania return. Vince McMahon was reportedly devastated by Cena’s injury, as he wanted him to face the Undertaker in what was to be the latter’s farewell match in this year’s WrestleMania.

Rollins tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus last year and was consequently forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and given a recovery period of six to nine months. The “WWE Superstar of the Year” for 2015 is reportedly scheduled to return by May this year.
