Something highly exciting could be in store for wrestling fans this March after it has emerged that former WWE superstars Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio are set to clash for “UR Fight” internet pay-per-view site at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.
The promotion is certainly pulling out all the stops for the upcoming match and has promised a “blockbuster announcement” that’s set to be unveiled for the Angle vs. Mysterio match soon.
UR Fight have stated that venue tickets and live stream tickets will be made available in the near future.
However, the venue does not have the event listed on their official website as yet. Fan involvement is fully underway though, with the promotion currently running a contest for fans to design Rey Mysterio’s mask.
Angle, who recently left TNA, already has other projects lined up with a booking on the independant circuit on his to-do list with Destiny World Wrestling promotion, which is set to happen on April 10th in Canada.
The news of the upcoming bout between Angle and Mysterio – both of whom had distinguished careers on WWE – is bound to come with its fair share of hype as the duo have not been seen together in years, with their reunion certain to make sparks fly.
