Damien Sandow has seen his career falter since breaking off from The Miz. First in a tag team with Curtis Axel as a parody of the Mega Powers, he is once again gimmick-less in light of the Hulk Hogan racism controversy. Mick Foley has decided to get some attention on Sandow, and has announced Damien Sandow Appreciation Day for next Monday, August 3, 2015.
Foley is asking fans to tweet about Sandow next Monday with the hashtag #SandowAppreciationDay. Foley also tweeted about an unpleasant radio appearance he had in Boston this morning. Foley says he objected to being grilled about Hulk Hogan and WWE without getting in a mention for his upcoming comedy show in the area. Below are Foley’s tweets about the radio appearance and Sandow:
- Meanwhile WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin is back on the WWE Network to host his outstanding Stone Cold Podcast with Paige announced as his next guest. She will sit down with Austin immediately following next week’s Raw on Monday August 3rd. The podcast will likely run one hour long with the two-time former Divas Champion and Tough Enough judge and indeed it’s the struggling reality tv show that she will be plugging and no doubt why she was chosen for this episode’s slot.
