WWE’s first-ever live event in India is around the corner and the fans are already waiting for January 15 to arrive soon. The tickets are already sold out as the fans are waiting eagerly to get some glimpses of their favourite WWE stars.
The match card was already out for the event and some changes were made to it according to the availability of the WWE superstars and the updated match card was revealed.
It has been already revealed that the likes of John Cena, WWE Divas champion Charlotte, Tag Team Champions New Day, The Usos, the World’s largest athlete Big Show, Big Guy Ryback, Demon Kane, Bulgarian Brute Rusev, show-off Dolph Ziggler, Tyler Breeze, Bray Wyatt and Summer Rae were advertised for the show.
Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus were also initially advertised for the event, but WWE has removed them from the roster that will travel to India.
Former Divas Champion Nikki Bella, who was advertised for the show is doubtful in taking part in the event due to an injury. Cesaro, who was advertised earlier, will also miss the show due to injury.
It was also reported that Indian wrestler Satender will be a part of the event and he will be joined by Lovepreet Sangha for the event. The match card has been announced and Satender will be taking on NXT star Chad Gable, while Lovepreet will be up against Gable’s tag team partner Jason Jordan on the 15th of January. On 16th, the reverse fixtures of the above matches will take place.
On the first day (15th January), John Cena will take on Big Show, Demon Kane will face Bray Wyatt, Ryback will square up against Rusev and Dolph Ziggler will be up against Tyler Breeze. World Tag Team Champions New Day and Divas Champion Charlotte will fight The Usos and Summer Rae respectively.
The next day, Cena will be up against Rusev while Demon Kane will face Big Show and Ryback will face Bray Wyatt. The rest of the matches will remain the same.
