The conclusion of the match saw the babyface team picking up the victory following a vicious gore by the one-half of Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions Rhyno to Jey Uso. #5 Dolph Ziggler (c) vs The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship

The next match was the first of the three title matches scheduled. The amazing feud between Ziggler and The Miz continued with yet another entertaining match put on by the two. Maryse accompanied her husband to the ring for the match.

Maryse tried to interfere in the match numerous times on behalf of her husband, even attempting to spray lacquer into the eyes of the Intercontinental Champion.

However, before she could do that, Smackdown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan came out to a massive pop and ordered Maryse to leave the ringside area. Dolph Ziggler retained his Championship after a pinfall win over The Miz courtesy of a thumping super kick.

#7 Kane and American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) vs Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Randy Orton

#8 AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

AJ Styles was able to secure the victory over Dean Ambrose after he threw The Lunatic Fringe into an exposed turnbuckle and rolled him up for a count of three.

Ellsworth continued to be the proverbial thorn in AJ’s side, as he delivered the No Chin Music to the Phenomenal One which was followed by the Dirty Deeds by Dean Ambrose to end the show on a positive note for the faces and sent the crowd home happy.

Result: AJ Styles def. Dean Ambrose to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship via pinfall.

This show concluded WWE’s European tour and now the Smackdown Live crew will return to the States as they gear up for the historic 900th episode of Smackdown Live on 15th November at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
