WWE was in the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona where the Smackdown Live house show circuit passed by. Among the featured superstars were WWE World Champion AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, John Cena, Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, Tyler Breeze, Baron Corbin, Nikki Bella, a returning Emma,etc.Here are the results from the event:
#1 Dolph Ziggler(c) vs Tyler Breeze(Intercontinental Championship match)
Result: Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler retained over Tyler Breeze in what was said to be an excellent championship match.
The match finished after Ziggler gave a superkick to Prince Pretty.
#2 Apollo Crews vs Curt Hawkins
Result: Apollo Crews defeated Curt Hawkins.
Hawkins threw a fit and asked for another match after. The Big Red Monster Kane then came out
#3 Kane vs Curt Hawkins
Result: Kane squashed Curt Hawkins in a quick match .
Note: This may already be an indicator as to what we can expect for Curt Hawkins’ coming WWE run
#4 Heath Slater and The Hype Bros vs Aiden English and The Ascension
Result: One-Half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champion Heath Slater, Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley(The Hype Bros) defeated Aiden English, Konnor, and Viktor (The Ascension)
#5 Baron Corbin vs Jack Swagger
Result: Baron Corbin defeated Jack Swagger with a low blow and a roll-up
#6 Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt
Result: Randy Orton defeated Bray Wyatt after hitting an RKO in what was said to be a good match.
#7 Emma, Nikki Bella, and Naomi vs Alexa Bliss, Carmella, and Natalya

Result: A returning Emma, Nikki Bella and Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss, Carmella, and Natalya.
Emma was using her old gimmick prior to her injury and not the advertised “Emmalina gimmick”. She perhaps just took the place of Becky Lynch on the babyface team. It very likely means nothing for her future television appearances
#8 American Alpha vs The Usos
Result: American Alpha defeated The Usos in a short, entertaining bout, hitting the Grand Amplitude for the win.
#9 AJ Styles(c) vs Dean Ambrose vs John Cena(WWE World Championship)
Result: WWE World Champion AJ Styles retained over Dean Ambrose and John Cena in a Triple Threat.
Styles used a steel chair and a low blow to win. Styles cut a promo after the match and went to attack Cena again but Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds. Cena then hit Styles with an Attitude Adjustment and celebrated to end the show.
The finish of the main event was a combination of the Backlash finish where AJ Styles gave a low blow to Dean Ambrose and the finish of No Mercy where AJ Styles hit Cena with a steel chair to pin him for the third time in four months. Naturally, the main event was considered to be the match of the night, and those in attendance said it was a great show all-in-all.
