WWE Live Event Results from Quito, Ecuador (08/10)

WWE returned to Quito, Ecuador for the first time in three years

WWE wrapped up their South American tour in Quito, Ecuador this past Saturday. The crowd was 15,000 strong in a sold out Coliseo General Ruminahui.

Here are the results from the event:

- The New Day(c) defeated The Club and Cesaro & Sheamus in a Raw Tag Team Championship match

Here is a video of Cesaro and Sheamus once again trying to outdo each other, proving that they seemingly don’t get along anywhere on the globe

- Braun Strowman defeated Sin Cara

- Alicia Fox & Bayley defeated Dana Brooke & Nia Jax

- Roman Reigns(c) defeated Rusev in a United States Championship match.

Lana did not try to enrage the crowd with heel tactics as she had done in Chile a few days ago. Here is the finish of the US Championship bout:

- Sami Zayn defeated Luke Harper

- Darren Young & Neville defeated Bo Dallas & Titus O’ Neil

- Enzo & Cass and Goldust defeated The Shining Stars and Jinder Mahal(6-man tag team match)

- Sasha Banks(c) defeated Charlotte in a Raw Women’s Championship match

- Seth Rollins defeated Kevin Owens by Disqualification in a Universal Championship match

- The night ended with Rollins wrapping the Ecuadorian flag on his back, thanking the fans and promising that WWE will return.

Unsurprisingly, in Chile, Peru and Ecuador, Rollins was the fan favourite and took the role of the lead babyface who stood tall to end the show and addressed the crowd before leaving.

There is no doubt that Rollins got the role earlier than anticipated due to Finn Balor’s injury, but in this tour, he has proven that he has got what it takes to be the top guy of the company. He already is one of the top 3 acts in the entire company who is constantly relied on and who constantly delivers.

It will be interesting to see when The Architect completely cements his face turn on television, as he is already a full-fledged babyface in the house show circuit.
