Owens is confident about his victory at Hell in a Cell

The recent WWE Live event took place in Hammond, Indiana and the show was exclusive to the members of the RAW roster. The crowd was vocal and almost every match of the card was entertaining and filled with action. The results of the Live event has been provided below.

1.Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Darren Young (with Bob Backlund) and the Golden Truth vs Titus O’Neil, Curtis Axel, Jinder Mahal and the Shining Stars

Good back and forth match to start the event. A Helluva kick to Mahal helped Zayn pick up the victory for his team.

Result : Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Darren Young and the Golden Truth defeated Jinder Mahal, Titus O’Neil, Curtis Axel, and the Shining Stars


2.Bo Dallas vs Neville

This was another good match with the wrestlers utilising several manuevers. Neville settled his scores against Dallas as he pinned him after a Red Arrow.

Result : Neville defeated Bo Dallas


3.Braun Strowman vs Sin Cara

This one was a short match. Although the luchador got in some credible offense, Braun easily picked up the victory with the Yokosuka Cutter.

Result : Braun Strowman defeated Sin Cara


4.Sasha Banks(c) vs Charlotte for the RAW Women’s Championship

Like their previous bouts, the ladies delivered another action-packed wrestling contest which was highly entertaining. Sasha won the match as Charlotte submitted to the Banks Statement.

Result : Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte and retained the RAW Women’s Championship

5.Roman Reigns(c) vs Rusev for the United States Championship

Rusev dominated the early part of the match and looked like the dominating heel he is meant to be. He had Reigns stunned towards the end and attempted a roll-up victory but the Champion kicked out and struck a Spear to pick up the win. Lana was forced to leave from ringside in the middle of the bout after she tried to interfere in the match.

Roman received a mixed reaction from the audience, however, the cheers were significantly more than the ‘boos’.

Result : Roman Reigns defeated Rusev to retaint he United States Championship


6.Dana Brooke and Nia Jax vs Bayley and Alicia Fox

The women’s tag team match was an enjoyable experience partly due to The Hugger. Bayley got the victory for her team after pinning Brooke with a roll-up. An interesting segment took place was prior the match started as Jax tormented Byron Saxton. She took off his shoes and started to beat him up with them.

Bayley, who was making her entrance at that time, helped in ending the mess.

Results : Bayley and Alicia Fox defeated Dana Brooke and Nia Jax


7.The New Day(c)(Xavier Woods and Big E, with Kofi Kingston) vs The Club(Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) vs Enzo and Big Cass for the RAW Tag Team Championship

Before the match, The New Day came out amidst lots of “New Day rocks” chants and cut their usual pre-match promo. Enzo and Cass also received huge pops from the crowd while the Club got lots of heat from the audience throughout. New Day picked up the win after using the Midnight Hour on Gallows.

Results : The New Day defeated Enzo and Big Cass and The Club to retain the RAW Tag Team Championship

It was an awesome contest to end the night. As Rollins was about to pick up the win on Owens, he hit Rollins with a microphone to get himself disqualified. After the match, Owens kept stomping on Rollins and said that he was going to be victorious at Hell in a Cell.

As he went for a Pop-Up Powerbomb, Rollins countered and hit him with a Pedigree. Rollins then picked up a mic and assured the audience that he will be the next Universal Champion.

Result : Seth Rollins defeated Kevin Owens via disqualification

Points to Note:

– Roman received a positive reaction from the live crowd while Rusev had the usual heat.

– The Women’s Championship match stole the show.

– Seth Rollins was over with the audience and garnered massive pop during his post-match promo.
