WWE Live Event Results: June 26, Boston, MA - Ambrose's first title defense

Dean Ambrose successfully defends his title

WWE’s first Live Event after the Money in the Bank PPV was held in Boston and it featured Dean Ambrose’s first title defense. As expected, Roman Reigns was removed from the Live Events due to his suspension. The results of the Live Event have come in and it seems to be an exciting event.

Byron Saxton is the host of the show and we have Dasha Fuentes as the ring announcer.

– The Usos defeated The Club via pinfall with synchronized super kicks.

– Baron Corbin defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall with the End Of Days.

– Cesaro defeated Alberto Del Rio via pinfall with The Neutralizer. The match was reported to be long and there was lots of fighting outside the ring early on with the two superstars fighting in the crowd at one point.

– The Golden Truth defeated Breezango via pinfall with a sunset flip pin. The crowd was reportedly dead for this match. It looked like they were not interested in the match.

– Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens via pinfall with the Helluva Kick. Owens reportedly toyed with the crowd a lot in this one and was constantly getting into it with fans at ringside. It was also reported that Owens generated a huge amount of heat and the crowd was behind Zayn throughout the match.

– Sasha Banks, Summer Rae, and Becky Lynch defeated Eva Marie, Natalya, and Charlotte via submission when Sasha put the Bank Statement on Eva Marie. It was reported that there was a huge pop for Sasha when she came out, arguably the biggest of the night. Dana Brooke was at ringside.

– Rusev defeated Kalisto via submission with The Accolade to retain the United States Championship. Reportedly, Kalisto looked absolutely bent in half by The Accolade and Rusev refused to release the hold after the match until Lana instructed him to.

– Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins via pinfall with Dirty Deeds to retain the WWE Championship. This was reportedly the match of the night and lasted almost half an hour. The end was especially very entertaining and both Superstars were going at each other with crazy abandon. Check out the below clip for the ending.
