This week WWE Live Event was at Consol Energy Center, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh is a wrestling stronghold, and usually good for a solid crowd. But only 5,000 or so people dotted the seats at Consol. Following are the WWE Live Event results from Saturday night’s show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania:
- Neville beat Bo Dallas with Red Arrow.
- The Prime Time Players defeated Big E and Xavier Woods to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles when Titus pinned Xavier. Titus going to town is pretty impressive and The PTP got a big reaction.
- Chris Jericho comes out for a Highlight Reel segment and cracks jokes on Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Luke Harper comes out and we get a match with Jericho winning. If Jericho really is injured it didn’t show here because he looked good.
- Mark Henry defeated R-Truth with a World’s Strongest Slam. Henry also looked good to be away as much as he is these days.
- Nikki Bella defeated Paige and Naomi to retain the WWE Divas Title with a Rack Attack on Naomi.Paige obviously got the better reaction here but The Bella Twins got pops also.
- Ryback defeated Big Show to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title. Ryback got a main event pop here but the match was nothing to write home about.
- John Cena defeated Kevin Owens in a Street Fight match of the night to retain the WWE United States Title. They both went really hard and Cena won with a super Attitude Adjustment through a table. For Owens to be as fresh as he is he easily got the biggest heat of the whole show.
