wwe monday night raw live coverage and results december 1 2014
Daniel Bryan was in charge last week

Hello everyone and welcome to our live coverage of Monday Night Raw. A lot of questions were left unanswered by the WWE throughout the week, but with TLC fast approaching, things are expected to heat up this week since only two matches are confirmed so far. Daniel Bryan returned last week and was in charge of the show as the Authority is now out of power.

We are at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma this week, and the big question is who will be the anonymous GM? The Laptop could well make a return, but the fans would love to see a big name. Also, will the WWE respond to CM Punk after his recent outburst? Stay tuned as we will find out!

RAW kicked off by looking back at what happened at Survivor Series and last week on RAW. Cole started the show by reading a message from the anonymous General Manager, who ripped on the legends, and before Cole could say anything else, he was interrupted by John Cena.

Cena hyped the show and ripped on the anonymous GM, and made fun of Lesnar and anonymous GM for showing up once a year. He then talked about Team Cena winning at Survivor Series, and brought up Big Show turning on him and his team. Before he could say anything, he was interrupted by the anonymous GM, but Cena said he won’t let the anonymous GM take over the show, and closed the laptop as Cole looked on, but Cena was interrupted by Seth Rollins.

Rollins came down to the ring and ripped on John Cena, and made fun of Cena’s mannerisms. The crowd started a “You sold out” chant, as Rollins reminded Cena that he eliminated him, and brought up how he would’ve won if it wasn’t for Sting. Cena then reminded Rollins that Ziggler almost single handedly defeated Team Authority, as Rollins smirked. Rollins then questioned if WWE was really better off without Authority in power, as the crowd chanted “Yes”! Rollins then brought up the anonymous GM taking over from Authority. Rollins then brought up Batista, and said he was terrible at wrestling and acting. He name dropped Eric Bischoff as well, and said every week Cena comes out and claims that he does what’s best for the fans and WWE, and said it is also what is best for business.

Rollins then asked Cena to bring back The Authority. Cena then told him that he cannot boss him around, and that The Authority is not coming back. Cena wanted Rollins to ask him nicely to bring The Authority back, as the crowd started the dueling “Let’s go Cena/Cena sucks” chant. Rollins asked him nicely, but Cena said he didn’t believe him, and wanted him to get on his knee. The gong went off for another mail, as Cole interrupted Cena. The anonymous GM made a match between Rollins and Cena at next month’s PPV in a tables match, with his number one contender spot on the line, as Rollins attacked Cena. Cena tried to fight back, but Jamie and Joey, along with Kane managed to stop him. Ryback came down and cleaned house, but Kane stopped him with the steel chair. All hell broke loose with Rowan, Show, Harper and Ziggler coming down, but in the end, Rollins and the others managed to put Cena through a table to end the segment.

Analysis: That was a great way to kick off the show, and begin the journey to the next PPV. Cena will face Rollins in a tables match with his number one contender spot on the line, and the opening segment laid foundations for hopefully a good show for the next 3 hours.

Back from the break and Team Cena were helped to the back by the doctors and medical personnel.

Tag team turmoil match for the #1 contender’s spot for the WWE Tag Team championships

Goldust and Stardust started off with the New Day as Kofi took Stardust down. Big E and Kofi double teamed Goldust, as Big E went for a nearfall. Kofi and Big E quickly eliminated Goldust and Stardust as the next team of Tyson Kidd and Cesaro made their way out.

Back from commercial, as Cesaro and Kidd worked in tandem. Kofi and Big E turned things around, but Goldust and Stardust attacked The New Day, helping Kidd roll Kofi up with his tights to eliminate The New Day.The Usos came down and went after Cesaro and Kidd, as Cesaro worked over the Usos for a near fall as WWE went into commercial.

Back from commercial and Cesaro and Tyson were still in control. The action quickly got out of hand as The Usos eliminated Cesaro and Kidd with a big splash to Kidd.

The last team was Adam Rose and The Bunny. Rose and Bunny argued once again, leading to The Usos picking up the easy victory.

Winners and the new #1 contender for WWE Tag Team titles: The Usos

Rating: *** ½

Analysis: That was a fun little match resulting in The Usos picking up the victory. I would’ve liked Cesaro and Kidd to have picked up the win, but that was an enjoyable match nonetheless.

Backstage, Miz confronted Naomi and gave her the number of a Hollywood producer, as Mizdow mimicked him.

Vince McMahon was then shown in the building!

Next week, Seth Green will be hosting the Slammy Awards on RAW!

Backstage, Rowan was asked why he went after Show, and Rowan said it was because he was a bully.

Show then made his way out and cut a promo about others turning their backs, and challenged Rowan to come out.

Erick Rowan vs. The Big Show

Rowan started like a house on fire, but Show cut him off and controlled the pace of the match. Rowan came back with a big clothesline and sent Show out of the ring. Show turned things around and sent Rowan crashing through the steel steps. Show then drove the steel steps through Rowan’s back, causing a DQ. Show left with a smirk as Rowan rode in pain.

Winner by DQ: Erick Rowan

Rating: *

Analysis: Rowan got caught by the edge of the steps, as he legitimately got hurt. Anyway, that will set up a long term program between the two.

Vince McMahon then plugged in Steve Austin’s podcast on the WWE Network post show.

Fandango and Rosa made their way out, but Jack Swagger didn’t. It was shown that Zeb was attacked backstage, and the victory was given to Fandango by forfeit.

Rusev and Lana made their way out, as Lana cut a promo about Rusev being the greatest US champ in history. Rusev then spoke about breaking his opponents such as Zeb Colter. Lana then took the pledge of allegiance to Russia, as Swagger attacked Rusev. The referees finally separated Swagger from Rusev, as Swagger was hell bent on hurting Rusev.

Damien Mizdow (With Miz) vs. Fernando (With El Torito)

The fans chanted for Mizdow as Mizdow and Fernando traded pinning predicaments in the early going. Mizdow quickly finished Fernando off with the figure four leglock.

Post match, Jimmy Uso came down and slapped Miz, and warned him to stay away from his wife!

Winner: Damien Mizdow

Rating: *

Analysis: It was refreshing to see Mizdow in a match, and Jimmy slapping Miz will give a personal angle to the feud going forward.

Bray Wyatt then appeared on screen as WWE went into commercial.

R – Truth vs. Bray Wyatt

Bray took it to R – Truth and was in control for most of the match, but R – Truth tried to fight his way back. Truth missed with an axe kick as Bray planted him. Bray finished him off with Sister Abigail to pick up the victory.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

Rating: * ½

Analysis: That was your normal squash, and it’ll be interesting to see what happens between Dean and Bray at TLC.

Post match, Wyatt cut a promo about facing Ambrose at TLC PPV, but Ambrose interrupted him and beat him down. The referees finally separated the two as Dean destroyed Bray’s rocking chair.

Brie and Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee and Naomi

Brie drilled AJ with a right as Nikki started things off with Naomi. After back and forth action, AJ got the hot tag and she finished Nikki off with the Black Widow submission move.

Winners by submission: AJ and Naomi

Rating: * ½

Analysis: That was your normal divas match, with a lot of CM Punk chants. Nothing else to add.

Paul Heyman then cut an amazing promo like only he can, to remind everyone that Brock Lesnar is still the WWE World Heavyweight champion.

John Cena, Dolph Ziggler and Ryback vs. Seth Rollins, Kane and Luke Harper

Ziggler started things off for his team, but was quickly beaten down. Ziggler then tagged in Ryback who went right after Kane. Harper then made his way into the match, as Ryback then took it to Harper. WWE went into the final commercial of the night as Ryback lifted Harper for a huge suplex.

After more back and forth action, Ziggler got the win out of nowhere as Harper was looking to go on the offensive.

Winners: Cena, Ziggler and Ryback

Rating: ***

Post match, all hell broke loose, as Harper attacked Ziggler, and all the superstars started brawling. Big Show came in and KO’d Cena, and Rowan made his way out with the steel steps to make the save. The faces fended off the heels as they celebrated to close the show.

Analysis: That was once again what you expected. The show started on a high but quickly fizzled down.

Over – all rating for the show: ** ¾ (Out of 5 stars)

The only thing worth looking forward to is the Vince McMahon – Steve Austin conversation that would follow the show on the WWE Network. Anyways, that does it for this week’s review, and we hope you’ve enjoyed the show.

What makes Sting special? His first AEW opponent opens up RIGHT HERE.
