WWE nearly put Divas match on Wrestlemania pre-show

PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE were considering moving the Divas match at Wrestlemania to the pre-show, but decided against it because of the “Give Divas A Chance” campaign and how they would come off looking bad.

Apparently one of the reasons why they moved the Battle Royal and Tag Title match to the pre-show was to ensure fans didn’t get bored during the two hours. It also allowed more important matches to get more time on the main show. They still ended up being rushed at the end of the main event, mostly because the Ronda Rousey segment with The Rock went long.
