Traditional Survivor Series elimination match officially announced, singles bout made official

Much needed additions to the Survivor Series card were made this week

Survivor Series is known for its traditional Elimination tag team matches and it was quite surprising to see WWE not announce any match as such, that stayed true to the pay-per-view.

It seems they have realised the mistake and have officially announced a traditional elimination 5-on-5 match for the pay-per-view. The competitors for the same have not been revealed as of yet and expect WWE to keep it under wraps until the match itself on Sunday.

It makes sense for the fact that it would build up some sort of an expectation around the match, considering there has been no build up for the same. It would most likely feature unused stars such as Cesaro, Ryback, Neville, Sheamus and the other tag teams that are left without a match for the pay-per-view.

This was not the only match that was added to the card, though, as Dolph Ziggler vs Tyler Breeze is also going to be featured at the pay-per-view, which was announced at the Smackdown tapings. Ziggler and Breeze were part of an angle on Smackdown, after which the match was made official.

From reports coming in from the SmacDown tapings, Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman were teased to be the opponents of The Brothers of Destruction at Survivor Series.

The card now looks complete, after weeks of inactivity when it comes to WWE booking matches for the event. Below is the updated card:

Tournament Finals to Crown a New WWE World Heavyweight Champion

Kevin Owens or Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns or Alberto Del Rio

Tournament Semi-Finals to Crown a New WWE World Heavyweight Champion
