Prior to his WWE debut, nobody could have thought that the Phenomenal AJ Styles would not only make it to the biggest wrestling company in the world despite not having age and physique factors on his side but he would also make such huge impact in the company and become the WWE Champion within just 9 months of his arrival.

However, the wrestling fans know that till now, WWE has only scratched the surface of AJs in-ring abilities and there are plenty of more dream matches involving Styles and other top WWE Stars which they expect to see in the future.

During his recent interview with Game revolution.com, the current WWE champion spoke up about one such person who WWE fans want to see him going one on one against, none other than the former 12-time World Champion Randy Orton.

Styles said that since they both are a part of the SmackDown roster, this dream match will eventually happen and whenever this much-anticipated bout takes place it's going to be huge. He said:

“We’re both on Smackdown! Live, so eventually that’s gonna happen. I think that’s gonna be huge, that’s gonna be fun. So there’s definitely guys on the Smackdown! roster that I haven’t had the opportunity to wrestle, and the RAW roster, and the NXT roster.

“I think there’s all these matches that people are gonna wanna see, it’s gonna happen eventually. And I’m one of ‘em. I want these matches to happen as well.”

Speaking about another possible opponent in Shinsuke Nakamura whom he has previously faced during his NJPW run but fans still hope to see the two feuding inside a WWE ring in future, the former TNA star said that it will also happen eventually and when the time comes, everybody will know about it:

“I don’t know when, or where, but it will happen eventually. The WWE, they’re smart, they know what they’re doing. And when that time comes, everybody will be aware of it, and they won’t wanna miss it.”

On the topic of WWE 2K17, Styles was asked which character he likes to pick up to play as and the SmackDown star took the name of his fellow TNA veteran Sting:

“I play as Sting, just ‘cuz he’s one of my heroes. But there are some other guys that come out. There’s some DLCs that’ll be coming out soon, and that’s pretty exciting. I’m not gonna let the cat out of the bag; no one’s gonna be safe when it does.”

Aj Styles will defend his WWE Championship against both Dean Ambrose and John Cena in a triple threat match at No Mercy.
