WWE News: AJ Styles warns Jon Stewart ahead of Summerslam match against John Cena

Jon Stewart smashed Cena with a folding chair at last year’s Summerslam

The Raw General Manager Mick Foley confirmed that Jon Stewart, who hosted last year’s SummerSlam and played a deciding role in one of its matches, would return to The biggest Event of the Summer for the upcoming 2016 edition.

The exact role of the former “Daily Show” host has yet to be confirmed, however, once the announcement was made the incident that struck everybody’s mind was when Stewart interfered in a title match between Seth Rollins and John Cena at last year’s Summerslam. He smashed a closed metal folding chair into John Cena’s gut, thereby, helping the former shield man to win the World Heavyweight and U.S. Championship belts.

With Stewart set to appear in Brooklyn, the speculations are mounting that the 53-year-old might interfere in Cena’s match for the second time in a row. At the WWE 2k17 Summerslam Kickoff event in New York, Cena’s opponent AJ Styles spoke about the match and possible intervention of John Stewart.

"I don't know the guy," Styles said of Stewart. "And hopefully, he doesn't stick his nose where it doesn't belong, because I've got business to take care of."

This Sunday the Phenomenal Aj Styles heads into his first ever Summerslam for a third and possibly the feud-ending match against the 15-time- world champion. Styles won their first showdown back at Money in the bank, then at Battleground Cena hammered the AA for the pin and won.

Styles talked about both the matches with the Cenation leader, saying the contest on Sunday is going to be unbelievable.

“I do what the match requires. The first time we wrestled, we just wanted to make sure we put together a great match because that was the first time we'd ever been in the ring together. We didn't even know each other the well. But now, here at SummerSlam, we're not playing around. It's all or nothing with us. We got one gear. And so it's going to be an unbelievable match. he said

This is one of the most anticipated matches in the recent history, with the company's most popular superstar John Cena taking on AJ Styles for the third time in the year. Also, it remains to be seen whether Stewart’s role in the show will impact Cena for the second time in a row.
