Is The Greatest Man That Ever Lived injured?

There was a major scare tonight, in the main event of NXT’s house show in Fresno, that saw NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura team up with No Way Jose, against Samoa Joe and Austin Aries. Apparently, Aries went down after a kick to the face by Nakamura.

The referee quickly threw up the “X” symbol (which is an indicator for match stoppage and immediate medical help), and medics tended to Aries. Even Samoa Joe’s towel was reportedly used to clean up the blood.

It should be noted that the match continued, but did not go on for very long. According to fans in attendance, Aries seemingly had a gash under his eye, which was swollen shut. However, the positive was that he was able to walk to the back on his own.
