WWE News: Bayley says she will watch this Sunday's Iron-man match very closely

Bayley is a one-time NXT Women's Champion

This Sunday, at Roadblock: End of the Line, Sasha Banks will defend the RAW Women’s Championship in a '30-minute Iron man match' against Charlotte. It is rumoured that there won’t be any rematch for the title between these two former members of Four Horsewomen, irrespective of the result.

Interestingly, Bayley disclosed in one of the RAW Fallout segments, that she would watch this encounter “very closely”.

After defeating Alicia Fox in a singles match at RAW, Bayley was interviewed by Mike Rome. She appreciated the in-ring skills of the former Divas Champion and expressed her excitement to wrestle with one of the veterans of the female locker room.

However, Bayley wants it to be the last match between her and Alicia so that she can focus on the RAW Women’s Championship.

Bayley predicted that her friend, the ‘Legit Boss’ will retain the title at Roadblock. She is also aware of the fact that the Queen will attempt to overcome any hurdle to re-capture the RAW Women’s Championship and said it wouldn't be surprising to witness her emerge the victor.

During this interview, Bayley once again reminded that her aim is to win the Women’s title:

“I am here to be hugging that RAW Women’s Championship”

Bayley, who had made her official main roster debut on the August 22nd edition of RAW, has achieved victories over both Charlotte and Sasha Banks during their NXT days. In 2015, she earned the opportunity to battle for the NXT Women’s Championship at Takeover: Brooklyn by defeating Becky Lynch and Charlotte.

Moreover, the last time there was an Ironman match between the female competitors, Bayley defeated Banks to retain her NXT Women’s Championship. Watch excerpts of the match below:

Hence, whoever secures the victory at Roadblock, must be prepared for the next contender, which may very well be, Bayley.
