WWE News: Big Cass reveals he wants to be WWE Universal Champion

Big Cass is one of the most over babyfaces in the WWE at the moment

Big Cass was recently in an interview with Fox Sports where he spoke about a number of issues such as his career, his will to become WWE Universal Champion, being a WWE fan and much more.

Cass is one of the rising stars in the young WWE roster and along with Enzo Amore, forms the most over tag team in the WWE right now. Big Cass admitted that their overwhelming popularity with the WWE Universe is scary at times. He told

He told Fox Sports that it was hard to believe that just five years ago he was performing in Tampa, Florida in FCW in front of a small crowd of 10-20 people.

A big WWE fans since his childhood years, Cass revealed that he would make it a point to go to every WWE event held in and around New York. He said that he was at Madison Square Garden for WrestleMania XX where The Rock and Hollywood Hulk Hogan tore the house down.

Cass also recalled an incident back in 2008 where he skipped a college exam to watch Ric Flair take on Shawn Michaels at the former’s last match in the Citrus Bowl, Orlando at WrestleMania XXIV.

Talking about his goals with the company, Cass revealed that he wanted to reach the top of the roster and become the WWE Universal Champion. He expressed his desire to be a top guy in the company:

“I want to be Universal Champion. I want to be a top guy in this company. I think I can be somebody this company can rely on for many, many years.”

Enzo and Cass made their main roster debut on Monday Night RAW earlier this year and went on to become the most over tag team in the company, easily surpassing the New Day’s popularity. It isn’t long before the duo turns their attention to the Tag team Championships.

This Sunday at Survivor Series, Big Cass will join Enzo Amore and the rest of the Monday Night RAW tag team division as they lace their boots to take on the SmackDown Live tag team division in a 10 on 10 Survivor Series tag team elimination match.

It won’t be an easy task for team RAW as there is a lingering possibility of a double cross by the team of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Add to that, the stacked tag team division of SmackDown includes the likes of Rhyno and Heath Slater, American Alpha and the experienced Usos.
