WWE News: Big Show says he is in the best shape of his life after losing 70 pounds

Big Show says he lost 70 punds

WWE superstar Big Show was recently in Miami, where WSVN-TV reporter Chris Van Vliet caught up with him and asked a few quick questions about how the wrestler has been doing these days.

During the interview, the WWE star revealed how he lost 70 pounds, is now down to 396 pounds, and that he is perhaps in his best shape, ever since 1995.

He said,

“I’m like 70 pounds lighter than 6 months ago! I’m like down to 396. I haven’t been this great since 1995. Well, I’m the natural big Big Show. At one time in WWE, I weighed 547 pounds.”

In the course of the interview, when asked about his favourite wrestler of all time, Show mentioned it was none other than the WWE superstar Arn Anderson. He said,

“Arn Andersonis my favourite. I grew up as a kid watching him. He’s become a great friend and a great mentor over the years, one of my dearest friends.”

The superstar also spoke about how he loves John Cena and that he is the strongest person to ever pick him up. Here’s what he had to say about his colleague.

“I love John Cena. I’ve had many a battle with John and just, I have nothing but have just respect for his work ethic and what he’s given to the business and, you know, me personally as a talent. But as far as people picking me up, nobody’s like John. Cena picks you up, it’s like standing on concrete. I’ve never seen a guy so composed, so strong, and when you’re on there on the shoulders, you’re not going anywhere. He is literally like a machine.”

In the interview, Show had a real heart-to-heart conversation about everything under the sun- being a part of Wrestlemania 33, his favourite Wrestlemania moment of all time, getting into the WWE Hall of Fame, and even cracked jokes about his huge hands and not being able to dig his own nose.

While he hasn’t been featured too much on TV, the rumour is that he’s soon to face Braun Strowan in WWE storylines. Show and Strowman have earlier worked together in bodyslam challenges at live events.

For now, here’s the complete video of the interview with Big Show by Chris Van Vliet.
