WWE News: Brock Lesnar to appear at live event in March, 2017

Brock Lesnar is scheduled to appear at a live event in Buffalo in March 2017

It looks like WWE has plans for Brock Lesnar to appear at live events in 2017. However, fans may not see the Beast Incarnate, other than on Monday Night Raw or a pay-per-views, until March.

According to ewrestling.com, Lesnar is scheduled to appear at a live event in Buffalo, NY at the KeyBank Center on March 10th, 2017. Who Lesnar will face is not known as of now.

Lesnar, who is currently involved in a white-hot program with Goldberg at Survivor Series, has been a part-time wrestler, making appearances with his advocate Paul Heyman for high profile pay-per-view events. The match with Goldberg is expected to be one of the highlights of Sunday’s pay-per-view in Toronto.

It is one of the few singles matches on the card which will feature many inter-brand feuds. There will be three traditional Survivor Series matches involving men’s, women’s and the tag team divisions.

Lesnar has had a busy 2016 for a “part-time” wrestler. He competed in the Royal Rumble, only to be eliminated by the Wyatt Family. He and Dean Ambrose faced off at WrestleMania 32 and he was also part of SummerSlam, where he beat Randy Orton by TKO.

He is a four-time WWE World Champion and has been under contract with the company, since 2012 after he returned from UFC, rejoining Vince McMahon’s promotion after an eight-year hiatus.

In 2014, Lesnar did the unthinkable and defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX, ending The Streak at 21 straight wins.

The last time Lesnar faced Goldberg was at WrestleMania XX, where both wrestlers left the company following the match. Regarded as one of the worst WrestleMania main events in history, the build for the upcoming event has worked to both other their advantage.

Goldberg agreed to come back to the ring after signing a deal with WWE 2K17, where his likeness is now part of the video game.

Lesnar won his first WWE Championship when he defeated The Rock at SummerSlam in 2002, to become the youngest WWE Champion at 25 years old, which was previously held by the Brahma Bull.
