WWE News: Brooke Hogan confirms negotiations between Hulk Hogan and WWE for a return

Hulkamania is on its way back!

In a quick TMZ interview, Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke Hogan confirmed that there have been talks between Hulk Hogan and WWE for a Wrestlemania return next year. It is also being said that Hogan and Vince are currently negotiating a deal regarding the inevitable return. Here is the clip:

Other reports stated that he might be coming back even sooner.

The Gawker case concluded with an agreement of $31 Million that will be sent to The Hulkster. Now that the lawsuit is cleared up and the racism ordeal has slowly cooled down, it is believed that Hulk Hogan will be back in WWE. According to All Wrestling News, the belief within WWE is that Hogan will be back in the company before Wrestlemania 33.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter on the radio show stated that it is not a matter of if, but when he returns. Meltzer noted that WWE has to check with their sponsors if they are ok with that. The reason for this being that if they do it without checking and they pull out, it spells trouble for all parties involved, and for big brands, reputation is everything.

Despite the barrier, it is fully expected that Hogan will be back by Wrestlemania if not sooner. WWE have already started to introduce Hogan back in the Network programming with voiceovers and clips, among other things. The wounds have been slowly healing for a while now. For example, JBL once on an episode of Raw earlier this year, mentioned Hulk Hogan. In the Edge & Christian Show That Totally Reeks Of Awesomeness, a joke where they openly mentioned Hogan.

Time heals wounds, and in Hogan’s case, the tape that featured him using racist remarks cost him his job in the WWE, but as time goes on and people put it behind them, the chance of him returning increases, which is exactly what is happening in this case.

A surprise appearance at Wrestlemania 33 would indeed cap off a potentially historic show. Another possibility would be to have him host Wrestlemania 33 like he did for Wrestlemania 30. That would help draw the older fans, who grew up watching The Immortal one and have tuned out since then.

Are you excited at the thought of seeing The Immortal Hulk Hogan back on WWE television?
