WWE News: Chyna's friends allude to possible cause of death

RAW played a video tribute to Chyna today

Suspicions abound that Chyna’s death was strongly drug influenced, but the only information available now is a statement from her manager, Anthony Anzaldo, that all he found in her room were two bottles of prescription medicine.

Anzaldo discovered Chyna’s body when he entered her apartment with a film crew, as they were in the process of making a documentary called “The Reconstruction of Chyna”. Erik Angra, the man directing the documentary, echoed Anzaldo’s belief that Chyna was over-medicating herself and even consuming dangerous cocktails of pills.

Though far from suicidal, Anzaldo and Angra said on separate occasions that she was harrowed of late but sought medical help. Anzaldo even finalized a deal with a TV show called ‘Intervention’ to give her the leg up she desperately needed. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley were about to be approached to be a part of the intervention. “An interventionalist was already lined up as was a facility that was going to take her for 90 days”, said Anzaldo.

Angra recalled that Chyna broke down during their last interaction and he even admitted that the former WWE Women’s Champion had been drinking. “She was having a tough time the past couple of weeks and we all knew that and she was using more of her prescriptions than she should have been or mixing them up - I can't say for sure exactly what she was doing”, Angra told Daily Mail Online.

“It was a combination of things from her past and current troubles. I know she had been drinking and I think she was upset with things that were going on."
