Now that the news has been broken, unsurprisingly fellow wrestlers of Cody are maintaining their silence on this issue. No one has officially responded to Cody’s this request. From this it is apparent that Cody’s decision has been as surprising to WWE as it has been to us.
Nevertheless friends and family of Cody Rhodes have voiced their support to Cody at this crucial time. Kyle Edwards, former WWE announcer, and Stephen Amell, with whom Cody did a program recently has lent Cody their support. They tweeted the below via Twitter.
Similarly, Cody’s wife Brandi, who is known to the WWE universe as Eden, tweeted her support to her husband. She said she couldn’t be any prouder or more supportive to her husband at this crucial juncture. Brandi also retweeted Stephen Amell’s tweet.
