WWE News: WWE top brass to be deposed in court for concussion lawsuit

Could Daniel Bryan’s career have been salvaged had the WWE been more careful?

As Daniel Bryan found out – along with the scores of his fans – to much dismay, the WWE certainly isn’t playing around with the medical issue of concussions and other head injuries. Especially given that a lawsuit filed against them by ex-employees Vito LoGrasso and Evan Singleton in 2015 has far from been resolved still.

In fact, despite the WWE’s best efforts in preventing Triple H from being deposed, the judge in charge of the case, Judge Bryant, has ruled unfavourably against them as Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, WWE doctor Chris Amann and the head of the Concussion Leagy Foundation Chris Nowinsky have all been ordered to co-operate 411mania.com reports.

The lawsuit had been initially filed against the WWE for reported negligence in dealing with their performers’ health around concussions and other head-trauma related injuries that were suffered.

As is well known, ranging from Chris Benoit to the recently retired Daniel Bryan, the WWE has always had to deal with Superstars that suffered with concussions and other head related injuries.

As part of their efforts to deal with the same, chair shots to the head and other moves like the Curb Stomp that targetted the head of a wrestler have been completely outlawed by the WWE.
