In an interview with Screengeek.net, former NXT and Universal Champion, Finn Balor commented on Hulk Hogan potentially returning to WWE this Saturday at the Wizard World Convention discussion panel in Pittsburgh, PA:
"Obviously, the expression is that anything can happen in the WWE, and me as a fan I would love Hulk Hogan to come back. I don't know if that's possible, but a lot of stranger things have happened in the past, and it's not out of the realm of possibility one bit - and I'd love it. If I got an opportunity to wrestle Hulk Hogan, that would be even better"
It looks like the term “anything can happen in the WWE” is about to reassure its meaning once more, because on Saturday night, Brooke Hogan, the daughter of Hulk Hogan, confirmed in a short video by TMZ that there are indeed talks between WWE and Hulk Hogan for a return deal at Wrestlemania 33 next year in Orlando
All Wrestling News reported earlier that day that there is a belief within WWE of Hulk Hogan returning before Wrestlemania. Regardless of when he returns, it is now confirmed that it is a matter of “when” and not “if” The Immortal One returns. So if you are a Hogan fan, then rejoice, because the wounds seem to be healing faster by the day.
There is more good news regarding a comeback, as it was announced a few days ago that Finn Balor is advertised for Roadblock. However, he is not expected to be there in a wrestling capacity. It is likely that he will be there to make an announcement, similar to how Roman Reigns announced himself to be the first participant in the Royal Rumble 2015 in the previous PPV of December 2014, when he had just returned from an injury.
In case you need to refresh your memory on Finn Balor from not seeing him for a while, here is a start:
