WWE News: Goldberg wants to wrestle Undertaker on his WWE return

The Phenom with the WCW Legend

While the 2016 edition of WWE's second biggest PPV of the year SummerSlam is already over, it looks like the talks of Bill Goldberg returning to WWE are not done just yet.

During a recent interview given to GamesRadar.com, the former WCW star once again expressed his urge to return to WWE to fight his WrestleMania 20 opponent, Brock Lesnar. He said:

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: [the past is] water under the bridge. If WWE wants to make good money and have a good opponent for Brock… hey, who knows?”

Brock Lesnar is not the only dream opponent of the former WCW World Heavyweight champion as the other person he looks forward to wrestling if he ever makes a comeback to the squared circle is none other than the phenom, Undertaker himself:

“Taker is an idol of mine, I’ve know him since before I got into the business. I very much respect him both in and out of the ring – as a human being first and foremost, but also as a wrestler, with all he’s achieved. Going up against him would be a dream come true for me – and the fans, obviously.”

During the interview, Goldberg also revealed an interesting deal he has with his son Gage, according to which, the 9-year-old gets video game time in return for doing various exercises like push ups, sit ups, and push kicks:

“It’s called the 100/100/100: 100 push ups, 100 sit ups and 100 push kicks for 20 minutes on a video game, As far as I’m concerned he can continue playing it for as long as he likes, as long as he continues to do that stuff, as he gets something out of it at the same time.”

As we reported earlier, Goldberg was rumored to return at WWE SummerSlam this year to confront his old rival Brock Lesnar during the climax of the PPV. The segment was then supposed to lead to a match between the two at the upcoming WrestleMania.

These speculations were backed by the fact that the former WWE star publicly expressed his interest in returning to the company multiple times prior to the biggest event of the summer.

However, all these talks turned out to be nothing more than wild guesses by fans and the event ended with Brock Lesnar completely destroying his opponent Randy Orton, before winning the match via a technical knockout and leaving him in a pool of his own blood.
