Even those who are loath to watch John Cena running to the ring and throw his cap into the crowd know that whenever he arrives, he does so in style. Just recall the many times his returns have shattered windows in arenas where PPVs were held.
This time is no different. The 15-time WWE Champion’s return is eagerly awaited(by one faction) since it was announced. Allwrestlingnews.com reports that the Resch Center in Greenbay, Wisconsin, which will play host to Mnday Night RAW on May 30th, has advertised a huge dark match following the event.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, John Cena and Dean Ambrose will team against AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. There have been no reports as to what Cena’s immediate booking will be, but it is heard that a match between him and Roman Reigns is being considered for the main event of SummerSlam.
Cena has been out of action since last year with a torn right rotator cuff, the treatment of which evinced other injuries as well. The 39-year-old made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 32, helping The Rock fend off an assault by the Wyatts. Cena was not cleared by doctors to compete at the time and his cameo lasted just a few minutes.
