WWE News: Kevin Owens calls Roman Reigns fans "idiotic", threatens to delete Twitter account

Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens will headline the Roadblock: End of the Line pay per view

At the WWE Roadblock: End of the Line pay per view, Roman Reigns has the opportunity to achieve what only his fellow Shield stablemate, Seth Rollins, has done in WWE; hold both the United States and Heavyweight (WWE Universal) Championships.

Reigns won a Number One contender match, defeating the very person that he is competing against at Roadblock, current champion Kevin Owens.

For a number of weeks on Monday Night Raw, Owens has been criticised for being able to maintain the Universal Championship not by his own merit, but with the help of his former “best friend”, six-time world champion Chris Jericho. Apparently, this has been getting under his skin so much, that he was offended by it on Twitter, during a fiery exchange with Reigns.

If first started when Reigns posted a tweet on his match with Chris Jericho, stating that it had been a good one, but tainted by Owens’ appearance.

Owens took offence to this, stating that nothing he ever did was as cruel as Roman Reigns tagging him in a tweet and having to see his idiotic fans’ mind-numbing replies.

Owens did not stop there. In fact, he threatened to delete his Twitter account because he was tagged in the tweet.

He pulled it all in back to storyline mode, when he asked Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley to do something about it.

Of course, it was done to further build the storyline between the two leading into their Championship main event at Roadblock: End of the Line. However, it is very interesting that Owens would call Reigns’ fans idiotic. This is especially due to the number of people, who boo Reigns without a reason.
