WWE News: Kota Ibushi and Gran Metalik sign with WWE

The Japanese sensation has finally decided to bet on himself and sign with WWE.

After a lot of speculation and anticipation by fans, ‘Goldenstar’ Kota Ibushi has reportedly finally put pen to paper on a full time WWE deal that has been reported by insiders to be “NXT level”. Pro Wrestling Torch first broke the story a couple of days back and also reports that Ibushi’s fellow CWC competitor Gran Metalik has also signed a WWE contract.

There was already speculation of the Ibushi signing earlier in the week after he took part in dark match against Murphy. Both Ibushi and Gran Metalik have had impressive starts in the Cruiserweight Classic and a few other wrestlers are also reportedly on WWE’s radar for future deals such as Zack Sabre, Jr., Lince Dorado, Akira Tozawa, Cedric Alexander and Jack Gallagher.

Gran Metalik was impressive in his CWC debut against Alejandro Saez.

It is unclear as of now if Ibushi has independent dates or dates back in his native Japan to finish before his WWE contact can come into effect and the whole signing process could take a few months.
