WWE News: Kurt Angle to wrestle an Undertaker-esque schedule for the WWE?

Kurt Angle has been suffering from neck injuries for some time now

When quizzed on the Wrestling Observer Radio if there is any chance that Kurt Angle could wrestle for the WWE again by a listener, Dave Meltzer claimed that the fact that Kurt Angle is a national hero could end up working against him on that account.

It is of course a well known fact that Kurt Angle is an Olympic Gold medallist, and also being as injury prone as he has been, Vince McMahon reportedly seems reluctant to hire him only for him to get injured again on the WWE’s watch.

It would also be a risky move given how wrestlers nowadays seem more prone to wrestling a stiffer, more crisp style than before. As published on allwrestlingnews.com, Meltzer also added that Angle could yet be capable of wrestling a once-a-year schedule not unlike that of the Undertaker, should Vince McMahon choose to hire him again.

While the ball is unmistakably in the WWE’s court, fans wouldn’t be adviced to hold their breath on this one just yet.
