WWE News: Luke Harper sends out cryptic tweet teasing retirement

Luke Harper was left out of the Draft

WWE Superstar and member of the Wyatt Family, Luke Harper, who has been out with injury for a while now, sent out a cryptic tweet after being left out of the WWE Draft that took place on SmackDown Live earlier.

Harper dislocated his patella and tore his MPFL in a dark match on Raw just before Wrestlemania 32 this year. While it was initially suspected to be a simple fracture, Harper later revealed in an interview with Qwality TV that he understood the graveness of the injury almost as soon as it had happened.

Either way, according to the big man, his return to the WWE ring can only happen later this year – August at the earliest or October at the latest.

While Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan were all drafted into either SmackDown or Raw earlier today, Harper’s name was conspicuously missing from the list.

And considering that Randy Orton – who is also recuperating from an injury – was included in the mix, could Luke Harper’s retirement tease be a sign of things to come?
