Dana Brooke appaeared on the main roster of WWE just three weeks ago. In this short span of time, she has managed to defeat the former #1 contender for WWE Women’s Championship, Becky Lynch. At WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, she helped Charlotte to retain her Women’s Championship by distracting Natalya. On the following RAW, Charlotter turned on her father, Ric Flair and alligned herself with Dana.
Allwrestlingnews.com reports that, this is just the begining of a possibly awesome WWE stint. WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon is very much impressed with the work of Dana Brooke and wants her to be in the spotlight soon. Apparently, she is now groomed to become the ‘Roman Reigns’ of WWE’s female division. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that Dana will be splitting with Charlotte in near future and eventually challenge her for the WWE Women’s Championship.
Dana, real name Ashley Sebera, is a fitness competitor, body-builder and now a proffesional wrestler. She was signed by WWE in June, 2013. Although, she made her televised NXT in-ring debut almost two years later, in 2015. In NXT, she formed an alliance with Emma. This alliance was supposed to continue in the main roster, but the idea was nixed after Emma’s sudden injury.
Needless to say, getting called up in the main roster in a year of her debut, is definitely a big step towards a bright WWE career.
