WWE News: Nikki Bella chips tooth on SmackDown Live

Nikki Bella chipped a tooth on SmackDown Live

Things got a little more real as WWE moves toward Survivor Series on Sunday night. Nikki Bella apparently chipped a tooth in a confrontation where she got jumped by Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Alicia Fox, and Nia Jax during her match with Carmella.

If WWE was trying to build momentum off Raw’s performance on Monday night, it worked. WWE is building for what could be the most important pay-per-view of the year. The team from Raw is supposed to take on a team from Smackdown Live which consists of SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Carmella.

Since the brand split, there has been plenty of speculation as to how the company would produce compelling storylines while dealing with a lack of roster depth and a depletion of main event stars.

The mood on Smackdown Live, with an invasion-like angle of Raw Superstars will certainly go a long way toward easing doubts the brand split has its shortcomings.

Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon threw down the gauntlet on Raw when they challenged the pay-per-view roster to put their differences aside and concentrate on winning for the red team, thus proving which brand is better.

There has been a lot of talk about SmackDown Live being the better of the two programs, having one less hour to concentrate on, which has produced better storytelling and tighter feuds.

Upon the news of Bella losing her tooth, WWE Network too to its Twitter account, where it quoted Bella as saying:

Nikki Bella is a two-time Divas Champion, and held the title for a combined 307 days. He second run with the belt of 301 days is officially recognized as the longest in the title's history. She was ranked No. 1 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Female 50 in 2015.
