WWE News: NXT Performers & Crew participate in the Mannequin Challenge

Nakamura ends the video in this pose

WWE's NXT performers and crew recently participated in the Mannequin Challenge. You can check out the video below:

In the video, all the NXT staff and performers in the Performance Center are seen, engaging in their daily activities or doing their patented poses. The video starts outside the Performance Center, going through the reception area, showing us Tye Dillinger doing his “Ten” pose, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano are shown filming a GLORIOUS bomb.

Further, we get to see Andrade "Cien" Almas, posing in between the ropes, TM-61 (Shane Miller and Nick Thorne) doing their hand-sign and NXT Tag Team Champions, The Revival (Dash and Dawson) are shown clashing their Tag titles together. Billie Kay and Peyton Royce also figure in the video as they stand in the ring doing their poses.

We get to see Ember Moon and the NXT Women's Champion, Asuka side-by-side. The video finally ends with a shot of the NXT Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura, with the lunatics from SAnitY lurking in the background.

Interestingly, Hideo Itami, who is out of action due to an injury is there in the video. However, Austin Aries, who just recently had an eye surgery isn't in it, and neither is Roderick Strong. Newest NXT recruit, Taynara Melo is present in this video as well. Sadly, the GLORIOUS, Bobby Roode is not a part of this challenge for reasons unknown.

The Mannequin challenge is a new viral video trend that started this year. The challenge requires you to remain frozen in action while a video is recorded, with music in the background. It is believed that this trend of posing like mannequins was started by students from Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Mannequin Challenge has been performed by sports teams, TV personalities, and political figures. The challenge is considered difficult to pull off just right but, the people at NXT managed to achieve it, and it actually looks really good, maybe one of the best Mannequin Challenges I've seen till now.
