Subtle things can make a difference. It’s no secret that Paige and WWE are not on the best of terms right now, but the fact of the matter is, she is still contracted with the promotion until 2019 unless she finds a way to get out of it.
A new potentially subtle jab might have come in the Raw intro. The Raw intro with the theme song “Enemies” features a whole bunch of Raw superstars from the male, female and tag team division as have previous intros.
In the original introduction song post-draft, she was there, but now she has been replaced by current WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins in the intro.

From here onwards observe the fact that she has been replaced by the Cruiserweight Champion. Normally, this should not really mean much, but as mentioned, subtle things may mean something.
Paige is anyway set to be on the shelf for at least the next 6-9 months, if not more. She is set to have a neck surgery on Wednesday, and the indications go to show that she will be going for the long-term surgery option, which will keep her out longer but will permanently solve the neck issues that she faces.
Paige and her boyfriend Alberto Del Rio have been in the news for many months now, none more so of late with all the antics going on there. Yesterday it was revealed that Paige had proposed to Del Rio in a show at Puerto Rico, and Mexico’s Greatest Export said “Si!Si!Si!” which means that they are now engaged.
However, things don’t seem to be completely smooth sailing for the two, as her father Ricky Knight posted an update on Facebook saying that he was not happy about the fact that she was engaged to Del Rio.
It seems to be quite a storm for the two to weather, but only time will tell if they get out of it or not. Paige is currently serving a 60-day suspension for violating WWE’s Wellness Policy a second time. If she violates it one more time, then that will be strike three and her contract with WWE will be terminated.
Even if she is rehired in the future, she would start off from two strikes, so it is naturally a vulnerable position for her now.
