WWE News: Paul Heyman talks Bill Goldberg and what to expect from Brock Lesnar in the next month

The Mastermind behind Goldberg’s return?

Brock Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, appeared on ESPN SportsCentre’s “Off The Top Rope” segment, where he was interviewed by Jonathan Coachman and Heyman had a lot to say regarding his client’s present situation.

Coach started off praising Heyman as the greatest talker in the business and asked about his current situation, Heyman responded saying that he’s approaching his prime and is enjoying every minute of the ride with Brock Lesnar.

Heyman credits himself for the comeback of Bill Goldberg, saying that he planned it by manipulating the situation from day 1. On being asked what to expect in the next few weeks, Heyman responded by saying that WWE fans will witness the ‘looking-to-settle-the-score’ Lesnar, the same Lesnar we saw in the UFC this summer.

According to him, Lesnar does not like the fact that Goldberg will go down in history with a win over him, and he is the type who wants no one to have a one-up on him.

Heyman also reveals about the time when 2K Sports approached him and asked for his opinion on who should be available as a pre-order bonus for WWE 2k17. Apparently, he was with Lesnar at that time and it was Lesnar who suggested Goldberg’ s name so that he would return to the WWE like Sting and The Ultimate Warrior.

According to Heyman, this was all a big trap to get Lesnar his win back. He believes that they have played the situation perfectly and he has played his role well by calling out Goldberg on RAW.

Heyman also describes working with Lesnar as an “opportunity of a lifetime” and explains how Lesnar has changed by becoming a seasoned, wiser and a smarter monster. Heyman also jokes about Lesnar’s love for farms by saying that he now owns half of Saskatchewan.

Paul Heyman called out Goldberg and laid out the challenge on the October 10 edition of RAW and said that it was time to settle the score. You can watch the segment right here:
