WWE News: Possible creative plan for Sasha Banks at Hell In A Cell

Will The Boss reclaim the Raw Women’s Championship next month?

Sasha Banks won her first WWE Women’s Championship on the first Raw after the draft. Many expected that she was going to win the title at Summerslam, but they put the belt on her earlier than expected, supposedly to create a buzz about the first Raw after the draft. However, she lost the title back to Charlotte just 27 days later at Summerslam.Truth is, she wasn’t supposed to lose the title so early but the belt had to be taken off her so that she could go off the road for a couple of weeks to heal up niggling injuries. However, she returned less than a month later and faced Charlotte and Bayley in a Triple Threat match for the Raw Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions but Charlotte retained the title after pinning Bayley.

Last night on Raw, it was announced that Sasha Banks and Charlotte would be squaring off next week on Raw at Los Angeles for the Raw Women’s Championship. It is unlikely that the championship is going to change hands on Raw once again. However, RingSideNews.com is reporting that The Boss and Charlotte will be facing each other at Hell In A Cell once again, and this time, Sasha Banks is expected to win the championship match. It can be taken with a grain of salt with the various factors coming in. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that WWE view Dana Brooke as the next top female babyface on Raw, and Sasha Banks and Bayley both are minor characters in the whole story with Charlotte. This does seem to add up as they are evidently planting the seeds for Dana Brooke to turn on Charlotte based on how cruelly Charlotte treats Dana in the storyline. This is not very favourable in the eyes of the fans. However, Sasha and Bayley are still two prime talents on the Raw women’s roster, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Sasha Banks regain the Raw Women’s Championship back at Hell In A Cell. It would be interesting if Sasha Banks vs Charlotte would be a Hell In A Cell match, as unlikely it may seem. It also would not be too bad a time to have women main event a Pay-Per-View. There has been buzz about women main eventing a PPV on the main roster for a while now, and two of the horsewomen squaring off would not be a bad main event to create buzz about a B-PPV.
