WWE News: Rollins, Wyatt and Orton to return in June, according to Vince McMahon

Getting back to fighting form

The WWE Universe got a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel when Mr. McMahon noted in a meeting that injured top Superstars like Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton will most likely return in June.

During a conference call on Tuesday morning to discuss the WWE’s first quarter earnings of 2016, the CEO said they weathered the tidal wave of roster injuries in 2015. The exact words he used described how the WWE “made “some pretty good chicken salad”, according to prowrestlingsheet.com.

Fifteen-time WWE Champion John Cena announced on Twitter that he will return on the Memorial Day episode of RAW (May 30th), while Rollins is reportedly back in training without his knee brace. Rollins tore his ACL, PCL and meniscus in a match against Kane at a live event in November last year.

Bray Wyatt suffered a calf injury during a match against Roman Reigns at a live event in Milan, Italy late last month and was forecasted to be out of action for four to six weeks, with the conservative estimate fortuitously proving to be the case.

Orton suffered a shoulder injury in September last year while in the midst of a feud where he aligned with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose against the Wyatt Family. Cagesideseats.com reports that high-flyer Neville will return in June as well. He broke his ankle during a match against Chris Jericho in March.
