WWE News: Roman Reigns to be in main title picture once again?

Will he be able to the first ever US and Universal Champion?

Roman Reigns cemented his reign as the United States Champion by defeating Rusev inside the demonic Hell in a Cell Structure. After this victory, Reigns feels that he should now challenge for the WWE Universal Championship.

The Big Dog appeared on the first ever edition of RAW Talk, after the pay-per-view and expressed his desire to capture the Universal title:

“I’ve got two shoulders, God made them broad. I’ve got one strap. I’m looking for another.”

Although Kevin Owens successfully retained the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins, Roman believes that he has the capability to achieve what his “little brother” could not do. According to Reigns, the involvement of Rollins with The Authority is one of the reasons behind his failed venture for the Universal title.

He remarked that the Architect always required help, either from the J&J Security or from the other members, to win most of his matches. On the other hand, the current United States Champion has always fought his battles by himself and emerged the victor.

Hence, Reigns considers himself the only superstar on the entire RAW roster, who will be able to outstand the team of JeriKO and dethrone Owens from the top spot of WWE’s food chain. In fact, he won’t hesitate to battle Seth Rollins in order to get his hands on the Universal Championship:

“I hope the best for him, [but] if he runs into me, you already know what's going to happen, I'll get the revenge that I've never gotten.”

In August, Roman participated in a fatal four-way match for the Championship, after Finn Balor had vacated the belt due to his injury. Courtesy Triple H, that attempt was unsuccessful, and Owens became the new Universal Champion.
