WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall a.k.a. Razor Ramon sat down for an interview with Total Wrestling Magazine recently. He discussed training his son for the WWE and working with the NXT talent.

Hall told Wrestling Magazine that the WWE was fortunate to have guys like Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura in the company. He spoke highly of Balor saying that he had tracked the ‘Demon King’s’ career since his early days and that Balor deserved all the success that he has got in the company.

Hall wished Balor a speedy recovery and revealed that there are better things on the horizon for Balor when he eventually returns to the company.

Razor was also full of praise for the ‘King of Strong Style’ Shinsuke Nakamura. He said that Nakamura brought ‘Strong Style’ to the WWE and that the WWE Universe loved it. Razor pointed out that he was over with the crowd in Japan and now his popularity has transcended into the WWE landscape.

He made it clear that his goal was to end up with a coaching job in NXT, to help strengthen the depth in the NXT roster. He said:

“The best thing for me though is to keep going places and to keep being charming and having my sh*t together, because when I'm clear headed my phone rings.”

Hall also opened up on his personal goal of bringing back the managers into the WWE landscape. With the exception of Paul Heyman and Maryse, the WWE has not seen too many active managers ringside with the superstars.

Ramon Recalled the days when almost every other WWE superstar was accompanied ringside by their managers. He was referring to the likes of Miss Elizabeth, Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan, Jimmy ‘Mouth of the South’ Hart, Brother Love, Classie Freddie Blassie, The Sensational Sherri, Paul Bearer and many others.

Hall said that he relished the opportunity of managing his son, Cody. He pointed out that Cody was bigger than him and that Cody’s stature made him look like a manager in comparison.

He revealed that Vince didn’t like the idea of a manager being too big and imposing since it eventually overshadows the superstar. ‘The Bad Guy’ did point out the Ric Flair had done it with Charlotte during the first few months of her title reign and he was looking to cash in on a similar opportunity as well.
