WWE News: Shane McMahon announced as Baron Corbin's replacement at Survivor Series

Shane O’Mac is returning to the ring at Survivor Series

The SmackDown Live tapings that just concluded in Glasgow has changed the dynamics of the SmackDow Survivor Series team. Baron Corbin injured his leg before his match against Kalisto and was subsequently pulled off from the PPV.

Daniel Bryan dropped a bomb in the closing stages of the show as he announced Shane McMahon as The Lone Wolf's replacement. Shane O’Mac will now be the fifth member of the team apart from AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton.

Here is a tweet posted by a fan in attendance:

In other news coming out from the tapings, Brain Kendrick will be facing Kalisto at Survivor Series for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. If Kalsito wins the match and the title, the cruiserweight division will come to the blue brand. Becky Lynch also retained her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss. Bliss would feel cheated as she had a foot on the rope while the referee made the 3-count.

Talking about Shane McMahon, the SmackDown commissioner’s last match was against the Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 that saw the McMahon scion pull off an insane leap of faith from the top of the Hell in a Cell cage.
