WWE News: The Undertaker and Shane McMahon spotted with some fans

Few days before their encounter at WrestleMania

Recently, a photo went viral on social media. First posted on Instagram by a fan, the photo indicated that The Undertaker and Shane McMahon spent some time in a bar, joined by some enthusiastic fans as well:

The Undertaker and the prodigal son, Shane McMahon were involved in a major storyline heading into this year’s WrestleMania. Shane made a surprise return after the Payback pay-per-view and accused his father, Vince McMahon and his sister, Stephanie McMahon for the downfall of the show. He went on to demand the control over Monday Night RAW.

Vince agreed to fulfill the demands of his son, only if could defeat The Undertaker inside the Hell in a Cell structure at WrestleMania. It was also a must win match for the Undertaker to ensure the continuation of his legendary wrestling career.

Although Shane was unsuccessful to get a victory over the Deadman, he ended up as the co-general manger for RAW and finally became the Commissioner of SmackDown Live.

After his match with Shane, The Undertaker left his wrestling gloves in the ring and several rumors indicated that the Phenom didn’t want to be back at the grandest stage for another year. In the recent WWE Draft, he was not an eligible draft pick, hence considered as one of the most valuable free agents by WWE.

Vince McMahon’s original plans regarding the outcome of his match at WrestleMania is considered as one of the main reasons behind such attitude of the Undertaker. The Chairman of the company wanted him to lose yet again, this time to his son, who rarely wrestles. Such a decision pissed off The Undertaker and the plans were eventually changed.

After this photo went viral, some fan theories hint that it is actually another masterplan by Vince. He could have sent Shane McMahon to meet the Undertaker so that he convince the Deadman and make him agree for another WrestleMania bout.

WWE wants to provide a dream match between John Cena and The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33, although he is still not confirmed for next year’s WrestleMania or any major pay-per-view appearance prior to that.

Interestingly, it can be noted from the provided photo that The Undertaker has dyed his hair black. Usually, it is an indication of his return to in-ring action. With Summerslam pay-per-view this Sunday, several fans are speculating his surprise appearance during the event.
