WWE News: The Undertaker hints at staying on in SmackDown

The Undertaker A.K.A. Dead Man

On the 900th episode of WWE’s USA Network Series titled “Smackdown Live”, The Undertaker made a much-awaited appearance for the entire wrestling world. The legend was last seen at the 32nd edition of Wrestlemania, where he won a Hell in a Cell match against Shane McMahon.

However, since then, he had not returned to the ring owing to speculations about his health.

It had been earlier announced that the Deadman would make an appearance in the 900th episode of Smackdown live, with fans all over the world waiting for this very moment. And as expected, he did not disappoint.

His opening lines on his entry made the whole crowd in the arena go wild with excitement.

He said,

“There could be no better man to be commissioner of Smackdown, than the man who has no fear.”

He went on to add, “Now I’m here tonight for two reasons. One, Wrestlemania will no longer define who I am. I’m back, taking souls and diggin’ holes. Survivor Series was where The Undertaker was born, and Smackdown has always been my home. Now, that brings me to the second reason I’m out here.”

Once he said this, the whole crowd burst into a chant of “Undertaker”, giving him the dramatic pause he essentially needed to make his second statement.

“There is no reason to fear failure. But if you fail, you will have reason to fear the Dead man. Team RAW, better rest in peace.”

This particular announcement by the WWE Superstar shocked fans and all the people from the wrestling world alike.

Speculations are on about what the statement really means. Some say that this might be an indication that the world champion would return as more of a part-time act rather than once-a-year at Wrestlemania.

The announcement definitely sounds like The Undertaker will make an appearance at Survivor Series this Monday, but in what capacity?

The only way to be sure is to get hooked to see for ourselves what the Dead Man has in store for WWE.
