After the action packed NXT Takeover: The End, WWE is ready to end some old rivalries and move on to the next chapter for the development brand. In the process, they have announced two blockbuster matches for the upcoming episode of NXT.
First, they have announced that Alexa Bliss will face off against the former NXT Women's champion Bayley. This match is very important for the future of NXT's women's division as it will decide who is going to be the next #1 contender for the Women's title.
Bayley is seen as the natural number one contender for the title as she is a former champion and she is still waiting to get a fair title rematch after losing it. On the other hand, Alexa Bliss defeated Carmella using the Twisted Bliss on the Takeover event showing that she is ready to go on the title hunt.
They have also announced a 2 out of 3 falls tag team match between the team of Chad Gable and Jason Jordan vs. NXT Tag Team Champions Dash and Dawson. Both the teams have held the tag titles at least once in their careers so far and this match is seen as the one to end their rivalry once and for all.
